Melissa Stefanski created SomaCalm after years of working with clients struggling with chronic stress, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, sleep issues, and nervous system overload.

Her work blends clinical hypnosis, nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and evidence-informed therapeutic techniques to help people move out of survival mode and into greater calm, safety, and restoration.

Melissa's professional background includes advanced study in psychology and health sciences, bodywork therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy. Her approach is trauma-aware, compassionate, practical, and designed to create both immediate relief and deeper long-term change.

Why I Created SomaCalm

Like many people drawn to this work, I understand what it feels like to live with chronic stress, anxiety, racing thoughts, and a nervous system that never seems to fully switch off.

I created SomaCalm because so many women are exhausted from feeling "tired but wired," overwhelmed by daily life, and unsure how to truly relax again.
